Shirley Valentine

By Willy Russell

Playing in the Studio Space

April 8 - 18, 2027

Directed by Kate Revnell-Smith

Shirley’s life has stalled. Her youth is gone, her days are repetitive, and at home she’s treated more like household staff than family. Nights are spent cooking for a husband who barely notices she’s there, talking to the walls because they’re the only ones listening. When her best friend buys her a two-week trip to Greece, Shirley packs a bag, leaves a note in the kitchen cupboard, and walks out. In Greece she discovers sun, sea, freedom—and the woman she thought she’d lost forever.
