New for the 2020-2021 season, Unity has created the FOREVER subscription. For those concerned about any possible cancellations of shows due to the COVID-19 situation, the FOREVER subscription allows subscribers to carry over any tickets for a cancelled performance into the next show, the next season, or the one after that, and beyond – FOREVER!

Rest assured your seats will be waiting for you when it is safe to enjoy the theatre again. Due to the CDC social distancing guidelines and the reduced number of seats required to accommodate them, subscribers will be given first “dibs” on what will be very limited seating.

Currently the plan is for all shows (Main Stage and Studio Series) to be performed on the Main Stage, with strict limited seating.

MAIN STAGE SHOW

Crimes of the Heart

A Comedic Drama by Beth Henley

Playing September 24 – October 11, 2020

The three Magrath sisters have gathered to await news of their grandfather who is living out his final hours in the local hospital. Lenny, the oldest, is unmarried at 30 and facing diminishing prospects; Meg, the middle sister, outgrew small-town Hazelhurst and has returned after a failed singing career on the West Coast; while Babe, the youngest, is currently out on bail after having recently shot her husband. Their troubles are hilarious (and many!) and are highlighted by their priggish cousin, Chick, and the awkward young lawyer who tries to help Babe.

Winner of the Pulitzer Prize and the New York Drama Critics Circle Award, this is a warm-hearted, zany play that teems with humanity and humor.
