Join Dorothy on a magical adventure down the yellow brick road!

Barefoot In the Park

A Romantic Comedy
by Neil Simon

Playing September 23 – October 10, 2021

Newlyweds Corie and Paul Bratter are over the moon to begin their life together in their new apartment in Manhattan. It may be small and a six-flight climb, the heating may be busted and snow may be falling through the skylight, but nothing can quash their newlywed bliss. Paul is a straight-laced lawyer and Corie a romantic free-spirit; nevertheless, opposites attract and the two are wild about each other. Corie decides to set her conservative widowed mother up with their eccentric, bohemian neighbor. A wild night ensues, one that highlights just how different Corie and Paul really are. The young couple must embrace their differences as they learn that marriage is no easy walk in the park.

A Tuna Christmas

A Comedy by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard

Playing December 2 – 19, 2021

In this hilarious sequel to Greater Tuna, it’s Christmas in the third smallest town in Texas. Radio station OKKK news personalities Thurston Wheelis and Arles Struvie report on various Yuletide activities, including hot competition in the annual lawn display contest. In other news, voracious Joe Bob Lipsey’s production of “A Christmas Carol” is jeopardized by unpaid electric bills. Many colorful Tuna denizens, some you will recognize from Greater Tuna and some appearing here for the first time, join in the holiday fun.

A Magical Romantic Comedy by Sean Grennan

Sometimes what happens after last call just might change your life! One night, as Jamie is closing down the bar where he works, a last minute customer offers him and his girlfriend, Abby, $2,000 to sit and have a drink with him. Who wouldn’t take it? They do, and as the trio swaps stories and Jamie considers the choices he faces with his musical career and his future with Abby, the young couple begins to realize that the older man seems to be strangely invested in their decisions. The reason he gives them is completely unbelievable but when a very displeased second stranger arrives, the unbelievable looks like it might actually be true! A heartfelt, romantic comedy about the costs of the choices we make, and the people who make them with us.

The Sweet Delilah Swim Club

A Comedy by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten

Playing June 2 – 19, 2022

Five women, whose friendships began on their college swim team, meet for a long weekend every August at the same beach cottage on North Carolina’s Outer Banks, to catch up and re-connect. They are Sheree, the team captain,who is the organizer of the group; Dinah, a wisecracking overschiever; Lexie, pampered and outspoken and desparately trying to hold back the hands of time; sweet and eager-to-please Jeri Neal; and self-deprecating and acerbic Vernadette. As their lives unfold and the years pass, these five women increasingly rely on one another, through advice, support, and hysterical repartee, to get through lifes challenges. The play focuses on four of those weekends and spans a period of 33 years and is an hilarious and touching comedy about the strength of friendship.

The Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey

One actor portrays every character in a small Jersey Shore town as he tells the story of Leonard Pelkey, a flamboyant 14-year-old boy who has gone missing. Leonard is a force of nature whose impact is only truly felt once he is gone and he becomes an unexpected inspiration to the town’s citizens. The play is about acceptance, the difference one person can make, and that being different is something to be celebrated.

Inspired by hilarious memories of a childhood etiquette class, playwright Jeffrey Hatcher conjures up the world of a ten-year-old studying manners. Mrs. Mannerly is a demanding teacher, and no student in her thirty-six years of etiquette classes has achieved a perfect score. But when he discovers her secret past, young Jeffrey is determined to be the first to achieve this feat. This unique comic tale reveals truths about the face we present and the real selves that lie inside.

This beloved fairy tale is retold in the style of English pantomime. A young woman triumphs over her nasty Stepmother and Stepsisters thanks to a zany Fairy Godmother, a trip to the Royal Ball in an enchanted coach, and a glass slipper. The Fairy Godmother’s two comical helpers keep things moving along in this delightful version of this classic tale.
