Address Unknown
by Kathrine Kressman Taylor
A Drama Playing in the Studio Space
November 13 - 23, 2025
Directed by Justin O'Brien
Based on her bestselling novel, which was written as an anti-fascist warning and banned in 1930s Germany, "Address Unknown" tells the story of one friendship, one love, and one betrayal. Two childhood friends run a gallery business in America, but are now separated by the Atlantic. Max continues the Schulse-Eisenstein Galleries in San Francisco, while Martin and his wife and young children move back to their native Germany. In an era of austerity, recession, and rising nationalism, two friends are torn apart when the Nazi regime infiltrates their friendship and families to devastating effect.
