Beast On The Moon

A Drama by Richard Kalinoski

Playing October 31 – November 10, 2019
Directed by Ryan Schabach

Inspired by true events, this beautifully written play of hope and healing is a story for our times. Aram, an Armenian refugee, wants to start a new life with his young ‘mail-order’ bride, Seta. They are both survivors of the Armenian Genocide but their painful, shared experience does nothing to promote their domestic harmony, and Seta struggles with old traditions as she tries to embrace life in her new country.

Mark Twain’s The Diaries of Adam & Eve

A Dramatic Comedy, adapted by David Birney

Playing April 16 – April 26, 2020
Directed by Julia Traber

This uniquely theatrical piece is funny and also moving as we take a light-hearted look at first love and the first battle of the sexes! In the beginning, Adam is puzzled by the new arrival in the garden and he is suspicious of her disturbing appetite for fruit. Eve, believing herself to be some sort of important experiment, is very curious and wants to name everything new she finds, much to Adam’s annoyance. Adam never gets a chance to name anything because Eve always beats him to it, whether it’s the discovery of fire or water running uphill. With wit and poignancy and many trials and tribulations, they come to know and love each other.
